Industrial Parts Cleaning

Spray Cleaning Machines

Aqueous spray cleaning systems for washing, rinsing, degreasing, chip removal and drying of machined, stamped and industrial components.

Powerful spray washing for industrial components

Spray cleaning machines use pressurised cleaning liquid to remove oil, grease, coolant, loose chips, dirt and process contamination from component surfaces. The process is widely used before assembly, inspection, coating, packing or further manufacturing.

Vibrotech can design spray cleaning systems for batch cleaning, rotary basket washing, rotary indexing, rotary screw continuous washing, cabinet front loading and conveyorised cleaning lines.

  • Oil, grease and coolant removal
  • Machining chip and particle removal
  • Washing, rinsing and drying stages
  • Batch or continuous cleaning layout
  • Rotary basket and rotary screw systems
  • Custom spray pressure and nozzle design

Cleaning Benefits

What Spray Cleaning Helps Achieve

Spray cleaning is suitable when components need fast and effective surface washing before the next production stage.

Degreasing

Removes oil, coolant, grease and machining residue from external component surfaces.

Chip Removal

Spray action helps remove loose chips, metal particles and burr residue from components.

Surface Preparation

Prepares parts for inspection, assembly, painting, plating, coating or dispatch.

Production Flow

Can be configured for manual batch loading or integrated continuous production flow.

Machine Configurations

Spray Cleaning Machine Options

Select the machine layout according to component size, production quantity, cleaning pressure, handling method and drying requirement.

Rotary basket spray cleaning machine

Rotary Basket Spray Cleaning

Compact batch cleaning machine suitable for small parts. The basket rotates during washing so spray reaches more component surfaces.

  • Suitable for small parts and fasteners
  • Wash, rinse and dry options
  • Simple batch loading arrangement
Rotary indexing spray cleaning machine

Rotary Indexing Spray Cleaning

Designed for organised part movement through different cleaning stations where washing, rinsing and drying can be controlled in sequence.

  • Indexed movement for controlled cleaning
  • Useful for repetitive production parts
  • Can include multiple process stations
Rotary screw spray cleaning machine

Rotary Screw Spray Cleaning

Continuous cleaning system suitable for high-volume production parts. Components move through washing and drying stages using rotary screw movement.

  • Continuous cleaning operation
  • Useful for fasteners and small components
  • Production-flow integration possible
Cabinet front loading spray cleaning machine

Cabinet Front Loading

Front loading spray cleaning cabinet for batch components where controlled washing, rinsing and drying are required in one enclosed chamber.

  • Compact enclosed cabinet design
  • Good for medium batch components
  • Operator-friendly loading access
Conveyorised spray cleaning machine

Conveyorised Spray Cleaning

Inline cleaning system for continuous part flow. Suitable for production lines where components need to pass through wash, rinse and dry zones.

  • Inline production cleaning
  • Multiple cleaning and drying zones
  • Variable conveyor speed option

How Spray Cleaning Works

Components are loaded into the cleaning chamber, basket, conveyor or rotary system. Pressurised cleaning liquid is sprayed through nozzles onto the components. Depending on the requirement, the cycle can include washing, rinsing, blow-off, hot air drying and filtration.

Applications

Components Suitable for Spray Cleaning

Spray cleaning is useful for a wide range of industrial parts where oil, chips, dust and surface contamination need to be removed.

Component Type Cleaning Requirement Suitable Machine Option
Machined Parts Oil, coolant and chip removal Cabinet, rotary basket or conveyorised washer
Stamped Parts Surface oil and particle removal Rotary screw or conveyorised spray cleaning
Cylinder Heads & Blocks Heavy-duty washing and internal passage cleaning Custom spray cleaning system
Connecting Rods & Crankshafts Cleaning before assembly or inspection Cabinet or custom spray cleaning machine
Fasteners & Bearing Parts Continuous washing and drying Rotary screw spray cleaning
Transmission Parts Degreasing and particle removal Conveyorised or custom washer
Note: Final pressure, nozzle type, tank capacity, heating load, filtration, drying arrangement and automation should be decided after component trial and cleanliness requirement study.
Selection Support

What Should Be Checked Before Selecting a Spray Cleaning Machine?

A spray washer should be selected after understanding the component, contamination, production quantity and required dryness level.

Component Geometry

Part shape, holes, cavities and size affect nozzle placement and washing coverage.

Contamination Type

Oil, grease, coolant, chips, carbon, scale or dirt need different pressure and chemistry.

Production Flow

Batch, continuous or inline production decides the correct machine configuration.

Drying Requirement

Blow-off, hot air drying or special drying methods depend on the final requirement.
